This official certification approval, created by the Ministry of Economy, Finances and Industry in 2005, enables to distinguish companies with an economic heritage consisting of a rare, renowned or ancestral expertise.Its 3 major objectives are :

The “Living Heritage Companies”officially certified Poterie provençaleIn march 2007, René Augé-Laribé, manager of the Poterie Provençale got this prestigious award. Meantime, Anne Lechaczynski, president of the Biot glass factory got the same distinction. The Biot Poterie Provençale was among the first ones in the department to get this award thanks to its fame and its 87 years old expertise.

In march 2007 , Anne Lechaczynski, president of the Biot glass factory got this prestigious award. Meantime, René Augé-Laribé, manager of the Poterie provençale, got the same distinction.
For 50 years, with the unique bubble glass know-how the Biot glass factory has known how to develop from a family sized company to one of the major glass work training centres today.
