Land of imagination and creation ,Biot boasts an exceptional artistic and historical heritage. The presence of artists such as Fernand Léger, whose museum stands at the foot of the village, and Eloi Monod, that started the Biot blown glass tradition, brought an artistic boost, that can be felt in every glass, pottery, ceramic and jewellery workshop. Biot remains one the glass-making world capital. Quite rightly, the city got the seal of Quality “ City and Arts and Crafts” and enjoys a worldwide fame.

In Biot, culture is a common heritage. It is an important element of local life that goes along with identity, conviviality and open-mindedness to the contemporary world. Exhibitions, shows, lectures, theatre and cinema events, concerts and traditional feasts : all year round, through a rich and varied programming, the city departments and the associations offer quality events for everyone.
